Paragon is a short film series to be directed by Bryan West and produced by Tonya Bredamus. The story follows three friends fighting to survive and escape the mysterious secret society they were raised in.
The Paragon Story
After the disappearance of his brother-like friend, DAMIAN GREY finally decides to abandon the cruel and abusive hidden society he grew up in. After his escape, his close friend, ROSE VAILLEN, is interrogated and punished for helping Damian, but is rescued and escapes with the help of MARGRET JADE, an older member of the secret society who is sympathetic to the children. After this, Damian struggles to stay hidden from his former masters while Rose and Jade attempt to help others escape until they are hunted down by RECLAIMER 116, a terrifying hunter from the society who has a familiar face.
The Vision
The Paragon series is to be a three act series, with five short episodes in each act. The series focuses on the thought provoking themes of fear, loss and brotherhood. Our goal is to produce Act 1 in autumn of 2026, with the next two installments to follow after.
The Team
Bryan West is a passionate storyteller, first and foremost. He works tirelessly to create stories that move people to feel something deeper and believe in the fantastical, even if it is just for a moment. He will be the writer/director for the Paragon series.
Tonya Bredamus is a realtor and movie producer and mother of two talented actresses. She works very hard to create uplifting, inspiring, talent-fueled projects that bend the mold of traditional film making. She will be one of the producers for the series.
Ava Lemmon is a production designer, screenwriter and children's book author. Her goal is to tell stories that inspire the next generation to ask questions, love others and go after their dreams no matter how impossible they seem. She will be one of the producers and the production designer for the series.
