My name is Nedal, I'm 34 years old, born in 1992, from the Gaza Strip. I never imagined I'd be a father to nine children, but fate has decreed that I will be the father of nine beautiful and wonderful children. My nine children are part of the genocidal war that Israel is waging on Gaza. My children have lost all their family members: no father, no mother, no brother, no sister, no home, no school, and they are still trying to survive and searching for a glimmer of hope. Through this fundraising campaign, I am trying to provide:
Shelter: Monthly rent of a safe house ($470) to protect them from indiscriminate gunfire and provide them with a decent life.
Food: Providing healthy food, fruits, drinking water, baby formula, and diapers ($80 daily)
Clothing: Summer and winter clothing.
Healthcare: Six of my children suffer from bedwetting, and four of them have various injuries all over their bodies.
Education: There are no government schools or UNRWA schools that provide free education for the children. All schools in Gaza are currently private so that they can afford to... My children need $430 a month to go to school and learn (school registration + bus pass + stationery + school bag). My children who will be able to go to school are Ismail, Hamoud, Shams, and Tala.
On May 17, 2025, I lost my two daughters, Huda and Aisha, in an Israeli bombing of the Jabalia refugee camp. My daughter Tala miraculously survived. Then began our journey of displacement and escape from the bombing and death. We fled from the Jabalia camp to Gaza City. There, I met Khawla and Lama, two beautiful orphaned girls who had lost their entire family. They were crying for the two girls.
With the help of my daughter Tala, I was able to immediately take them in, feed them, and provide them with shelter in my tent
Then we fled to the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza. There, we found my daughter Yasmin, who had moderate burns from a bomb left over from the war. Thank God, I was able to get her to the hospital and get her treatment thanks to the help of friends. I also met Malak in Deir al-Balah. She was sitting alone. When I inquired about her, I was told that her father had died while going to collect American aid, and her mother suffered from memory loss and had lost a hand. Thank God, with the help of friends, I was able to quickly petition the court to adopt Malak, and four days later, they approved it
While walking back from central Gaza to northern Gaza, I also found the child Shams. She is a wonderful and beautiful child, the sole survivor of her family. Shams's entire family was killed; no one survived. Thank God, I was able to adopt her
Then there's my son Saeed. His father was killed while going to collect American aid, and his mother is ill and unable to feed him
Ismail is also the sole survivor of his family. I found him running after aid trucks and was able to help him. When I learned his story, I immediately adopted him.
Hamoud is also the sole survivor of his family.
Hamoud's friends called me and told me he was near the yellow line and that the Israeli army was shooting at him. I immediately moved and was able to rescue my child Hamoud and adopt him.
Hanaa is the sole survivor of her family after Israeli forces killed them while they were in a vehicle fleeing from northern Gaza to the south via Rashid Street.
Thank God, thanks to my friends, I was able to adopt her.
Last but not least, the sick child Nourhan. I didn't officially adopt her through the court because her father adopted her. Nourhan suffers from stomach cancer, and I help her obtain treatment, medication, and food weekly.
My children deserve a safe and good life. They have lived through terror, fear, hunger, poverty, and displacement, and they deserve a dignified and safe life, far from fear and bombing.
I hope my children will have a life worthy of them after the Israeli occupation stole their lives. **Important Note:** Anyone can monitor the donations, how they are spent, and where they go.
