Since the day we brought Archie home, he has been sick. The first time we took him to the vet, they believed he had a bacterial infection called coccidia and gave us medicine to treat him for that. After not noticing much improvement, we took him back to the vet and they retested him and found that he actually has another bacterial infection, giardia, which has caused him to have lots of very runny stool. Giardia is treatable with proper medications, but unfortunately we cannot afford any more pricey vet bills. The vet also mentioned that he had some bumps around his neck that appear to be ring worm but they were not concerned with them at the time. Despite all of Archie’s health issues, he is the most wonderful cat and we hate to have to rehome him. As full time college students, my roommates and I are no longer able to afford the vet bills to be able to keep Archie healthy. Some sweet people on this page suggested we create a fund for him so we thought we'd give it a try. Anything helps & we thank you all in advance!
