On October 28, 2025, Hurricane Melissa devastated vast parts of Jamaica. Our surgical residents, Chevar South, Douglas Fletcher, Kem-Maria McCook-Dunkley and Tareefe Montaque, were personally affected by this tragedy, as several family members were left without electricity, damage to their homes and some left with close to nothing.
