I'm embarrassed I am doing this but I’m a mom of four boys, and I’m running out of options. I’ve never been separated from my kids, and I’m fighting every day to keep us under one roof.

In June 2024, I lost my job. I’ve been working at a new one for the past year, but it pays much less than what I earned before, and now it has finally caught up with me. I’ve been searching for better-paying jobs, but as the primary, single parent, the schedules often don’t align with my children’s needs. To make ends meet, I’ve also been doing DoorDash on the side, but my car has broken down multiple times in the last 3 months, leaving me even more behind.

I can no longer keep up with the $2,200 rent alone plus everything else where we live. I’ve found more affordable apartments for us, but I don’t have the resources to cover the deposits, application fees, and moving costs. Without this help, we are facing eviction—and me and my boys will be separated as there is no where for us all to go together,  the thought of being separated from my boys is unbearable.

Your support will go directly toward moving expenses so I can keep my boys with me in a stable, safe, and affordable home. Any donation, no matter the size, helps us stay together and gives us the chance for a fresh start.
