So, we started an anarchist monastery.
A place where spiritual misfits could come together and share our soulful skills—from the medicine of the Lakota sweat lodge tradition to the fruits of somatic yoga to the powerful invocations of Hindu puja.
Our presence was becoming more rooted. Our offerings more potent. Our community was growing…
Then the storm happened.
Suddenly, the members of Orodruin find themselves facing the threat of houselessness.
Not only has our slumlord refused to address the infrastructural and health-related hazards of the house—which have been greatly exacerbated by Helene-related damages—but our next door neighbour is now antagonising us full-on Karen style 
We’d like to stick together, so we can keep this community of practise going strong.
So we can continue to uphold these sacred ways, old and new, of relating to spirit.
So we can hold space for the alchemy that comes from many traditions living under the same roof.
Right now, more than ever, the Asheville community needs this alchemy.
So we need you—to help Orodruin Anarchist Monastery find its new home.
We are looking for a 3-bedroom or more in or close to Asheville. Animal friendly, a good space for gathering in ritual revelry, with enough space to hold our powerful personalities and enough closeness to the potent wilderness of our beloved Southern Appalachia.

ABE WARNER-PROUTY. medicine man, firemaster, jack of all trades. Chainsaw maestro, psytrance enthusiast, can probably fix your car in his sleep.
JAMES SAUTER. wordsmith, tea ceremonialist, champion of the people. Can see into your soul—but don’t worry, he can keep a secret. Has a cat named Kitsune.
IRIDESZA QILIN. bodyworker. Fire spinner. Professional dragon. Has a white dog named Ru. Her jokes will cure you of the sads forever. Her daughter defeated Calamity Ganon on her first try. Has a permanent residence elsewhere, but plans to stay with us for a few months in winter.
SCOUT RAINER WILEY. Poet, renegade mystic, writer. Systems nerd. Mythologist in training. Ritual artist. Singer-songwriter. Weird and intense.
