Brutus is a 9 year old Golden Doodle who was living his best life up this past June. Brutus had been having some leg issues and after 7 months of going back and forth to the vet, it was determined that he had bone cancer in his leg.
Brutus had a leg amputation 2 weeks later to help stop the spread of any further potential cancer cells. It was recommended that chemo treatments were performed along with scans throughout to monitor any potential cancer spread.
We are learning how to help Brutus adapt to live on 3 legs as the days go on.
Brutus is the love of our lives and we are doing everything we can to give him a chance at overcoming this. We all greatly appreciate anything to help go towards his chemo treatments, scans, blood work, and office visits to Oncology.
