What started out as a normal Saturday for my little family of 3, suddenly turned into one of the hardest days of our lives. I had left my oldest son, Isaac, at home while my daughter and I picked up lunch. As we pulled into the neighbourhood, i seen smoke bellowing out of our home and Issac standing in the driveway. This is a moment quite unimaginable. I want to thank the fire squad for risking their lives trying to save our family dog, sadly that wasn't possible. Im a single mother and work hard to provide for my two children. Now we are staying where we can until I can rebuild our life again. I'm not one to ask for help, but during a time like this, it is not about me. I have to put pride aside for my children's sake. We have lost everything we own. Our furniture, pictures, family portraits, toys, clothing and our dog of 7 years, scout. I couldn't be more thankful that my children are unharmed physically, but I'm trying my absolute best to protect them from the financial impact this has had on us. My son being 14 and daughter being 6, I am trying my absolute best to be here for them physically and emotionally. Anything helps and god bless you. Thank you
