Dear Friends,
The family of Arthur Washington is sad to announce his passing on Tuesday, May 31st. The Cape Charles and Cheriton community knew him well as a kind and humble man. Though Arthur's muscular dystrophy posed many challenges, we all saw him taking those challenges in stride and traveling our community roads with a kind wave and a positive outlook.
Arthur's family is near to my heart. His mother, Rebecca, has been a dear family friend for decades and so I have offered to set up this page in order to help them raise funds for proper cremation services. Arthur's passing was not expected and his family is understandably shocked and saddened.
If you are able to help them with funeral expenses, please know that my family and Rebecca's will be extremely grateful.
