I am seeking support as my work and the organization I worked for recently made the pivotal decision to close. My biggest worries are my housing, car payments and insurance payments as well as other living costs which broken down are:

- Housing: $1538 (I moved in having two well paying jobs and my lease ends end of July / early August thank goodness. Breaking my lease isn’t feasible at this time) but I plan to move to more modest means after. Thankfully Vegas has plenty of affordable $1-1200 options I just chose this as it was closer to my office and felt it was a good deal at the time for a 2-bd.
- Car payment: $400 ($8k left if anyone is feeling extra generous)
- Car Insurance: $333 (yes, this is the best rate I could find for my vehicle/location/etc, please do not make suggestions or comments around this)
- Phone: $167
- Internet: $70
- Vehicle Gas: $70 (my car uses Premium and I price check low cost spots with GasBuddy)
- Electric: ~$40 (varies up and down but this is the average)
= $2618 (accounting for anything else that may arise. For further context I was making $3276 monthly (with some benefits) so no more dental and I had opted out of healthcare to save $300).
Food: (I can source food fairly easily-ish so not asking for support here - I can donate plasma for food cash as well. If you’d like to email gift cards that’s always welcome )
I also have some debt payments needing to be made but am holding hope I will land a job with livable wages soon to start those up again.
Having worked in a social service management role I saw firsthand how hard it was to seek rental assistance and other benefits for those we worked with (people on the outside looking in OFTEN suggest using them not realizing how fast they run out of funding).
They are also not readily available to individuals without dependents (rightfully so, but still a challenge for those without families or dependents). So I come to you to help ease the strain of monthly bills as I navigate unemployment steps and vigorously apply to jobs as well as lean on my normal side gigs (photography and content creation).
Thank you all for the consideration, I know how many little things are out there to help support people and I am doing my darnedest to make it work but we all know things do not happen overnight or even weekly, monthly, yearly.
