For the past 11 days, my world has been turned upside down.

While I was out of town, my beloved Chow Chow, Lady, accidentally got loose from her sitter's home. Since that moment, every day and every night has been spent searching, hoping, praying, and refusing to give up on bringing her home.

What has amazed me most during this heartbreaking experience is the incredible kindness of complete strangers.

People I had never met before have donated their time, energy, and resources without asking for anything in return. Volunteers have spent countless hours searching fields, neighborhoods, wooded areas, and trails. Drone operators have come out day after day, using their equipment and expertise to cover areas that would be impossible to search on foot. Others have helped hang flyers, share social media posts, monitor sightings, and provide encouragement during some of the most difficult moments.

Many of these volunteers have incurred expenses of their own. Flyers have been printed and distributed throughout the community. Food and supplies have been purchased to help attract Lady and support search efforts. Trail cameras have been deployed to monitor potential sightings, many of which require monthly service fees and subscriptions. Gas, equipment, and countless hours have been given freely by people whose only goal is to help bring a lost dog home.

The generosity and compassion shown by this community have reminded me that there are still so many good people willing to help someone in need.

Today, I am asking for help—not just for Lady, but for the people who have been tirelessly working to find her.

Even a donation of $5 can make a difference. Every dollar will help offset the costs associated with the search efforts, replenish supplies, support the volunteers who have donated their resources, and allow us to continue doing everything possible to bring Lady home safely.

I cannot adequately express how grateful I am for every person who has shared a post, made a phone call, flown a drone, checked a trail camera, hung a flyer, or simply offered words of encouragement.

Lady is deeply loved, and because of this incredible community, I still have hope that we will find her.

Thank you for helping us continue the search and for showing what it truly means to help one another when it matters most.
