Allanah Mouton is a 13 year old Afro American Rialto resident who was recently accepted into California State University of Los Angeles Honors College and will be working on her Bachelors of Science in Chemistry as a college freshman fall 2021. After an almost year long rigorous admissions process Allanah was chosen as one of only 21 students admitted into CSULA’s highly competitive program for 2021 as an early college entrance participant and of the 21 is the only student representing San Bernardino County. Aside from this tremendous scholarly feat Allanah has racked up a long list of accomplishments in her 13 years including: being fluent in English and Spanish, playing several instruments including the saxophone, drums, and guitar, skipping the 5th grade, being an active participant in community service, and being an amazing artist. Allanah’s goals include a career in which she is able to use her college experience to innovatively influence her community and the world for the better.
