Hello, my name is Ashley. I am a mom of five beautiful babies three boys and one girl and then my little angel baby. Things lately have been hard on my family. We keep taking one hit after another hit after another. I am looking to see if I can raise money for a couple different reasons. I will include the reasons below so everyone knows what they are helping me achieve. Before that I will give a little back story of how my family ended up in this position we are in. November of 2023 I found out I was pregnant with my little babygirl. Unknown to me because a doctor told me I couldn’t have anymore babies. Pregnancy went good no issues. Let’s fast forward to August. The evening of August 6th I went into labor. The morning of August 7th I went to the hospital and had to have an emergency C-section done. During the surgery the doctor had made a surgical mistake and stitched my uterus to my bladder. 24 hours later I had to go down to have another 6 hour surgery to repair both organs. Let’s fast forward to the current time. I was working a job inside our home but ended up losing the job a few weeks ago. I have been unable to find another job to keep up with the financial burden. In the midst of all of this happening our house that we rent sold to a new owner who has made things very difficult for us. Including raising the rent. I have reached out locally for rental assistance, that takes about 6-8 weeks to hear back and that’s only to help with the rent that’s behind not anything moving forward. Also in the process we are currently in a nasty battle with my fiancés ex over child support and custody over his daughter. So we are in the process of trying to get that all handled as well. Her mother decided she was going to move their daughter from New York to Virginia without discussing it with my fiancé. In the process of this she requested a cost of living adjustment on the child support case they have in New York so his child support increased even tho the daughter no longer resides in New York. I am in the process of trying to find a lawyer who knows Virginia law but also can assist because we live in Ohio his daughter lives in Virginia custody and child support orders are established in New York. Even with all of this going on my uncle became very sick and was diagnosed with cancer of the liver which had spread rapidly and he doesn’t have much longer. They are working on trying to get palliative care established so he can go home. My aunt has her own health issues and they share two kids. Paying for any kind of funeral is out the question so we are just needing financial help to pay for him to be cremated. Below will be a list of things I am trying to get help with so I can move forward with what needs to be done.
1. Funds to pay for my uncles cremation to alleviate stress on my aunt
2. Retainer for a lawyer so we can get equal rights to my stepdaughter and child support moved to the correct state.
3. financial assistance for my family so we can get caught up on bills and afford Christmas for our kids.
I say from the bottom of my heart any help is truly appreciated. I don’t care if it is 2 dollars I have seen what 2 dollars can do when multiple people donate. I truly don’t know what else to do as I am at a complete and total loss, I have been in a depressed state for months trying to figure out how to get us out of this mess. But things just keep piling on one after another after another.
