On August 26, this year I had a major open heart surgery, replacing my aortic valve and root with mechanical mechanisms taking care of a few other small things. With this surgery, I am out of work for quite a while and not allowed to do anything as they cracked my sternum and it takes Minimum eight weeks to heal. During this process, I was supposed to be able to get on temporary disability however speaking with a case manager and going through the process, it can take up to 6 to 8 months before I will receive any help. i’m looking for this small amount of money to help cover some expenses. I wasn’t planning while being down like going to my blood thinner clinic three times a week all the doctors appointments I have to pay for rides for because my insurance does not offer one and other things that I just didn’t have enough money saved for like cell phone bill and other expenses that come with renting a home. on top of that. I had an incident with my landlord and didn’t realize I had to renew my lease before November when it expires and they’re making me do it this month and there is a renewal fee that’s a little bit higher than the amount I have right now. Anything helps and I appreciate anyone who can help right now. I understand things are difficult for everyone. Thank you all.
