This is Charlie and his puppy snoop. Charlie is 18 and the size of a 5 year old. He has severe delays and is developmentally only a toddler. Snoop is 10 months old and Charlie's best friend in the whole world. She loves her boy more than anything and he loves her. Unfortunately even with her parvo vaccine she contracted parvovirus and is currently admitted at the animal hospital fighting for her life. Luckily, her mom caught it quick and was able to act fast, but the cost to save your puppy is astronomical! Her mom has to put down a $5,000 deposit just so they would keep her and expect much more to be owed, regardless if Snoop lives or not. That money was not meant to be spent on vet bills, they saved it for airplane tickets to go pick up Charlie's sister and brother that they are in the process of adopting, so now the family has to figure out how to come up with that plus whatever else is owed. Even $5 and a share will help more than you know! Please help save Charlie's best friend!

Our 11/4 8pm update on Snoop sounds promising <3

She has stopped vomiting. At her 9pm med pass they are going to try and give her meds orally.

She is drinking water on her own.

She is still not wanting to eat so they are giving her nutrition through her iv still, along with continuing extra fluids.

She is still having diarrhea.

They said she's not "out of the woods" yet, and they don't want to give me empty promises, but she seems like she's starting to feel better! She definitely is not worse <3 I'll take it.

Evening Pupdate <3

Keep all those prayers coming!!! Snoop started eating on her own today. They did NOT have to give her an NG tube today after all. She is still not vomiting, they were worried she would start again when she started eating. It's not a "massive" turn of the corner, but I will take it <3 I can't wait until I can see her again. This house isn't the same without her!

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who has come along side us to help during this rollercoaster of a season. I will never be able to put into words how much it means to us. We have received meals, financial donations, and prayers are pouring in from all corners. I truly appreciate it <3

I am not sure I want to know what the current total bill is since it seems she is still several days from being able to come home. I know we have already gone past our $5,000 deposit. We were able to put $4500 of it on a credit card, the other $500 came from our checking account, the rest will probably come from sketchy feet pics on the internet hahaha. If you don't want to see pics of my feet consider sending $5 ;) hahaha

Good Morning!
I just called to check in on Snoop. She refused to take her meds orally last night and she is still refusing to eat so they are placing a feeding tube today. This will allow them to drain her stomach of excess acid and mucus from the irritation, give her meds, and start feeding her. The doctor said that she is hoping to see improvement by this time tomorrow with adding the feeding tube.
We have bleached EVERYTHING including our shoes! The doctor said our house will never be clear of parvo because it can live for up to 10 years in the house and yard, that there's no way to be completely rid of it. We will just have to let friends and family who have puppies know that we can not visit 🙁 I would NEVER want to do this to one of my friends. This is awful.
Our house is not the same without our baby Snoopy Poopy running around. Charlie keeps looking for her. Hermione keeps looking for her. This is hard 🙁 Please keep praying that she can come home to us 🙏 And please keep praying that we wont be restricted by finances from saving her life ❤ We have already used up the $5,000 deposit. They said they will have an updated invoice for me tomorrow morning so I will know where we are at.
