SIP Barrington is following the guidelines set by the CDC and State to help do their part to keep everyone as safe as possible. With the weather dipping into the 30's and 40's they can no longer operate outdoors.
If you have ever had the chance to gather there you know SIP is a family owned and run genuine "small business". The Owner (Tammy) opened it to focus and spotlight local music and talent of EVERY AGE.
There have been many "first performances" at SIP Barrington. From a 10 year old little girl playing her ukulele for the first time in public, to a 15 year old boy trying out a stand-up routine, to a few local groups forming after playing at Friday Night Open Mic Night.
Tammy and her family have put their heart and soul into SIP (Something In Progress) Barrington and without your help SIP Barrington can't survive this shutdown. Tammy and her family always put their customers first. She refers to them as her "hand-picked" family. Many nights once the kitchen closed dinners were packed and brought out to tables to share with those customers. Her motto..... this is what we do. We take care of people and share when we can.
She was one of the first to raise money for the staff at Good Shepherd Hospital when this pandemic hit back in March. She and her family made sure the over night shift had hot meals and weren't forgotten about. They cooked and served over 1200 meals to the staff.
SIP Barrington can now use a little of that kindness shown back to them. We as a community lead by example.
Please and thank you in advance.
