Hello,

We are a young couple and we just bought a house at the countryside. The house was in a not so good shape, so we used all our efforts and money to renovate it. We did a lot already, but we still have a long way to go. Unfortenately the next problem arrived; erosion. The house is built on a hill. Behind the house and in front there are steep landslopes. Behind isn’t much vegetation growing on this landslope and we noticed that when it is raining, the soil is coming down. For us it is very important to put as much effort as possible into actions that will stop the soil from washing away. If we don’t do this, we are afraid everything is coming down and will destroy our house.

Grass and shrubs are very effective at stopping soil erosion, so we started with planting some low, spreading shrubs on the landslope.  Plant roots tend to hold soil together, making it harder to erode.

Sadly the area where we need plants is very large. Also, in the front of the house we need to dig pillars and make a kind of barricade to stop erosion.

That is why we kindly ask you to donate a small amount of money to make this erosion stop.

We will be very thankful for every donation we can get.

Thank you very much!
