My name is Evelynda Medina. I'm a live-in care provider for my father and a couple of other disabled seniors at Santa Fe Plaza Senior Apartments (low income). I work for In-Home Support Services and also volunteer my time and donate for the Oldies But Crafties Arts & Crafts Class.
I've noticed for the past three years that I've lived at Santa Fe Senior Apartments, many tenants spend their time closed up and isolated in their apartments. I feel that visiting and planning activities to involve them would help them emotionally, mentally, and physically.
We have a thrift store that has been closed due to renovation of the ceiling where items were damaged. Please help by donating to plan our next trip to Disneyland CA and to help keep our non-profit thrift store Santa Fe Club open and our activities happening.
