Hello, I’m Kiana. I’ve faced unimaginable hardships but have always held onto hope and love.
Years ago, I endured the unimaginable pain of losing custody of my son, EJ. For nine long years, I fought every day to get him back. When I finally did, our bond was stronger than ever. EJ is my everything, and together, we’ve faced every storm with courage.
After my divorce, I was left to pick up the pieces of a shattered life. My ex-husband’s actions left me grappling with financial devastation, legal battles, and emotional exhaustion. I lost my home, my job security, and the stability I had worked so hard to create for EJ and myself.
Now, we’re facing eviction. The clock is ticking, and we have to leave our current home with nowhere stable to go. On top of that, my mother and sister back in South Carolina are struggling with serious health issues, and they need me. I want to be there for them, to support them the way my mom supported me when I fought to get EJ back.
But I can’t do it alone.
We’re about to embark on a cross-country journey from Oregon to South Carolina—with stops along the way to make lasting memories before EJ spends the summer with his dad in Missouri. This move isn’t just about geography. It’s about healing, rebuilding, and starting a new chapter filled with hope.
Your donation will help us with:
Moving expenses (gas, lodging, food)
First and last month’s rent for a new place in South Carolina
Basic living necessities while I get re-established
Support for my mom and sister as they battle through illness
Every dollar, every share, every kind word—it all matters. I’m not just asking for charity. I’m asking for a chance. A chance to keep EJ safe and stable. A chance to care for my family. A chance to build a life where laughter outweighs the pain.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading, for caring, and for helping us find the light again.
With love and deep gratitude,
Kiana & EJ
