Gigi is one of the friendliest cats you'd ever meet. If you come to our door, you will have a new best friend. She is outgoing, sweet, and funny, and she has been the light of our lives for fifteen years.
We adopted Gigi when she ran up to me in a parking lot and climbed into my arms. She was skinny kitten, and she looked like she'd been abandoned and neglected for awhile. She chose us in that moment, and we brought her in and gave her a home.
Her love and light have brightened many lives over the years, and she continues to win people over with her charming personality. She is the best of cats, and she has many fans.
Gigi was diagnosed last year with kidney failure. It's a hard diagnosis, because there's no cure. We just have to give her the best life possible in the time remaining. She's on a special diet that slows the progression of her illness. On this diet, she could have many months left, or even years.
Her special food is expensive. Buying it for her isn't optional. Of course we're going to do what's best for our precious pet. But we are struggling to keep up with her food bill and vet visits (for her and the other two cats). We could use all the help we can get.
Your donation will help us keep our heads above water while we take care of Gigi for the rest of her days. If Gigi has ever made you smile, or if you love cats, or if you just feel like helping out, please consider donating. All the funds will go toward pet care. She's a good kitty. She's worth it.
