Hi! My name is Jennifer, I'm a single mother of three daughters. I also care for and help 65yr old mother and 89yr old grandmother. We are in limbo for a housing situation. Our landlord sold our old house and the house we were to move to, isn't ready. I need help. I financially have no way to keep the 6 of us at the hotel we've been staying at past this coming Sat. We are looking at another 4 or 5 days until the house is ready.
*back story* I was fired from my job Feb 2nd, following being off for 3 wks when covid hit everyone in our house. (Yes, I'm working with an attorney but that takes time to get anywhere.) I have frantically been looking for a job but in a society where there "aren't enough workers" I'm getting nowhere fast. We're living unemployment check to unemployment check....and it does very little. $260/wk doesn't go far for a household of 6. My depression and anxiety problems have hit the roof and I'm personally struggling, big time.
Thru the help of some very close friends and family we've been staying st the Holiday Inn since May 1st.
PLEASE consider helping me come up with enough money to be able to stay at a hotel until our house is finished. I also have Facebook Pay and PayPal (@jkiracofe82) if you're not into crowd funding apps.
I'm at a loss as to what to do right now and am praying for a miracle.
