Like many of you, I had never realized the true depth of the difference of assault and harrassment made to black women until a documentary I'd seen, documented just how many black women suffer from verbal abuse, physical assault, sexual assault, rape, murder, and much more on a much higher level than their white counterparts. For every black woman that speaks up on her assault, 15 others do not for fear of more harrassment or their reputation being ruined, or simply being disbelieved or discredited. Help us contribute to allowing black women to feel that they can speak up about their experiences and that no one in this world is alone or of no worth.
