Hi everyone, and thank you for taking a moment to read this. This is not an easy post to write, but right now I’m facing circumstances I can’t get through alone. I was recently diagnosed with Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC), a chronic autoimmune liver disease that has made it incredibly difficult to work consistently while I try to manage symptoms, treatment, and the emotional toll of the diagnosis. As a struggling single mother, I’m doing everything I can to keep life stable for my 15-year-old son, but things have become overwhelming.
Despite actively trying to return to work, our financial situation has reached a crisis point. My son has already endured more trauma and instability in the last several years than any child should ever have to face, and I’m fighting as hard as I can to keep things safe and steady for him.
