On December 5th, our family lost someone we deeply love. My Uncle Kelly passed away unexpectedly from a pulmonary embolism at just 57 years old. None of us were prepared for this, and he didn’t have life insurance, which has left us with no way to cover the cost of his funeral.
If you knew Kelly, you knew how naturally he made people laugh. He had this way of showing up with a joke, a story, or a hug right when you needed it.
The biggest joy in his life was being a grandpa. He adored his granddaughter. He was always with her, always talking about her, always bragging on her. She was his whole world, and he was so proud of the bond they shared.
Losing him this suddenly has left a hole in our family that we’re still trying to make sense of. We’re asking for help to give him the respectful goodbye he deserves. Any amount big or small means more than you know, and if you’re unable to donate, sharing this page helps more than you realize.
Thank you for helping us through something we never expected to face.
