My name is Kelvin. I am a 53 yo Deaf man, living alone in the Ypsilanti area. On September 13, 2021, I lost my home and all of my possessions to a catastrophic house fire.
I am currently trying to rebuild my life, but am having difficulty. Due to the language barrier, as ASL (American Sign Language) is my primary language- communicating with, and receiving assistance from, charitable organizations and fundraising platforms has been unsuccessful.
