May name is Kali and today I ask you to stand in solidarity with Rama, a courageous 17-year-old young woman from Gaza. When Rama reached out to me, she did so with hope that someone would help her share her story beyond the borders of war. It is an honor to stand beside her and help amplify her voice.
Rama is not asking for sympathy—she is asking for the opportunity to survive with dignity, continue her education, and help her family rebuild after losing so much. I invite you to read her words with an open heart. If her story moves you, please consider donating if you are able and sharing her campaign so that others may hear her voice as well.
Rama’s Message
My name is Rama. I am 17 years old, and I am from Gaza.
I have three brothers, and I am the only daughter in my family. My older brother was one of the top-ranking university students, but because of the war and our financial situation, he can no longer afford to continue his education.
At the beginning of the war, my family was displaced to Khan Younis. After our home was completely destroyed, we were forced to flee again. Today, we are displaced in northern Gaza.
We are living through very difficult circumstances. We have lost our home and many members of our family. Every day is a struggle as food prices continue to rise, making even the most basic necessities difficult to obtain. Our education has also been interrupted because tuition has become impossible for us to afford.
Soon, I will share photos so you can see the place where we are living now and better understand the reality we face each day.
I am reaching out with hope in my heart, asking for your support in helping my family create a path toward a safer and more dignified life. Your kindness can help us access food, continue our education, and begin rebuilding after everything we have lost.
Thank you for reading my story. Thank you to everyone who donates, shares our campaign, or keeps us in their thoughts and prayers. Your compassion gives us hope, and I will never forget your kindness.
Today, your kindness can make a real difference for Rama and her family. Your donation will help provide life’s most basic necessities—food, clean water, shelter, and other essential needs—as they struggle to survive each day. It can also help Rama and her brother continue their education, preserving the dreams and opportunities that war has tried to take away.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing Rama’s campaign with your friends, family, and community. A single share can reach someone who is able to help.
Every contribution, no matter the amount, is an act of solidarity. Together, we can help ease the burden of survival today while investing in Rama’s hope for tomorrow. Thank you for standing with Rama and reminding her that she and her family are not alone.
