BS"D
WHO WE ARE
Chabad on Campus Stellenbosch, under the leadership of Rabbi Chananyah and Eliana Duthie, is dedicated to nurturing the diverse Jewish community at Stellenbosch University. The Duthie Family is excited to be in Stellenbosch, South Africa, to support and engage with the growing number of Jewish students on campus.
WHY STELLENBOSCH?
Stellenbosch is located 50 kilometres (31 miles) east of Cape Town in the Western Cape province of South Africa and has had a Jewish presence ever since 1885. There are currently over 150 Jewish students attending Stellenbosch University, one of South Africa's most prominent Universities. Due to the rich agriculture in the area, Stellenbosch lies in the top wine-producing region in South Africa. The Cape Winelands are currently experiencing a boom in tourism. South Africa is attractive to tourists from abroad due to the currency exchange. (1 USD = 18 Rand, 1 EUR = 19 Rand, 1 NIS = 5 Rand).

INVEST IN JEWISH LIFE
