UPDATE:
While some funds have come in from churches and friends, it unfortunately hasn't been enough. If the balance isn't paid by November 1st, I will no longer have a home. I am asking for any donations, big or small - they all add up. Praying for a miracle and your help.
THINK FOR A MOMENT... if you were in the position that you suddenly were about to lose everything you had worked so hard for. The roof over your head, your things, your car. All the resources you had built up and saved - GONE! No family to rely on or help me. What would you do?
Intro:
TODAY, I invite you to consider this question while reading my post.
I have never been in this position before, and I've never had to ask for help. I've always been able to take care of myself without help,
until someone took that all away from me.
What Happened:
A few months ago, a scammer took all of my life savings that I was living on, which should have lasted me a year. Since I have no income at this time, this was what I used to pay my bills. I have been left with nothing! The loss of money is one thing, but I have lost my sense of security and trust, too. Now, because of this horrible situation, I'm about to lose my home. After filing police reports and submitting them to the FBI, DOJ, FTC, my bank, and any other necessary agencies, I have yet to receive any of my funds back.
The Problem Now:
I am now at the point I am getting ready to be evicted from my apartment. I will not qualify for emergency assistance since I don't have a child in the home. I am now out of options. With bills mounting up and three months behind on rent, they are now evicting me, leaving me with nowhere to go.
As a last resort, I am asking all my family and friends to help me by donating a few dollars. ANY amount would be helpful and could mean the difference between me being on the streets or not. But now I'm very concerned about what will happen to me. Please help if you can. Any amount will help. Even $5 donations start to add up!
