I am starting this fundraiser in support of my dear friend, Francelise...
Francelise is a local Artist and French Tutor in Saratoga Springs who's been a vital part of the community for over two decades. She finds herself faced with a monumental feat: she's moving out of her home of the last 15 years (to another place in Saratoga, bien sûr)!!!
As anyone who's ever moved before knows, it's never an easy undertaking.
And, what's more, it can very quickly become unbelievably EXPENSIVE! Especially when moving over a decades worth of personal belongings.
I've put this fundraiser in place so that anyone who is willing and able to support Francelise in her move, can do so here! 100% of the proceeds of this Go Fund Me page will go directly to Francelise, to help her pay for the various expenses associated with her upcoming move. . .
Most pertinently, the costs we're hoping to get covered with this fundraiser (and through your generous support) include: renting a truck, hiring professional movers, and paying for incidentals of the move that may accrue throughout the process, and on moving day itself!
Francelise is planning for an official "moving day" of April 2nd, so that gives us about one week to get everything set in motion!!! (It's not a lot of time, I know, but if everyone chips in a little bit, I'm sure we could make it to our fundraising goal with time to spare!)
