The Miss America Opportunity has been a part of my life since I was 13 years old. Through this organization, I’ve earned academic scholarships, developed strong interview and public speaking skills, built lifelong confidence, and discovered my passion for service. It has shaped me into the woman, leader, and advocate I am today.
This year is especially meaningful. With the recent age eligibility changes, a dream I once believed had closed its chapter has been unexpectedly reopened, proof that God’s timing is always perfect. This gives me one final chance to pursue my childhood dream of becoming Miss Wisconsin, a dream that began in the community that raised me.
Receiving the Miss South Central People’s Choice Award would not only help me secure additional scholarship dollars—it would also pave the way for the future service initiatives I hope to lead throughout our state. These projects will focus on strengthening community connections, empowering young women, and bringing innovative service opportunities to Southern Wisconsin.
Most importantly, this opportunity allows me to reconnect with and honor my hometown, the place that taught me to dream boldly and persistently.
