My daughter Sarah has been bravely living with angiosarcoma for the past two years. After multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, we've recently received the heartbreaking news that her cancer has advanced. The increasing pain is now a constant battle, limiting her energy and appetite. Faced with these challenges, we are looking towards radiation to help ease her discomfort. Despite everything, Sarah's dreams remain vibrant and alive, reflections of the person she has always been.
Since my husband's passing seven years ago, it’s been just me, Sarah, and her sister Michaela. As a hospice nurse, I’ve always valued each moment we have. Now more than ever, I want to focus on fulfilling Sarah’s wishes. She dreams of a Celebration of Life with family and friends, a sunset sailboat tour, exploring South Carolina and Falmouth, and maybe even seeing London. Seeing the joy on her face as these dreams come true would mean the world to us.
