Stroke

I had a major stroke in April of 2023. At first they didn’t think I would survive, and then the doctors thought I would need to live in a home, in diapers the rest of my life. I have proved everyone wrong! I had to relearn how to talk, walk, eat, write and go to the bathroom independently. I defied the odds! With that being said, my care takers did not have my best interest at heart. They discharged me against medical advice (AMA) and never got the additional help, including physical therapy that I desperately needed. After two months after discharge, I decided my caretakers did not have my best interests in mind and I needed to move back home with family. It has taken a lot of hard work and determination but I have come a long way. I have a great treatment team. I have a psychiatrist, psychologist, pain management, neurosurgeon, neurologist and physical therapist. All of this help only came to me once I moved back home with family. My original caretakers didn’t have my best interests in mind. They also frauded me and my go fund me page. I never saw a dime of my go fund me money that was accrued. I did fill out a police report but I haven’t seen a dime. 
My medical bills are astronomical and my medical insurance doesn’t cover everything. I just don’t have enough to cover my medical bills. I so desperately need this ongoing care. 
The money made on this page will directly go to me……..no third party. This isn’t a fraud. 
If you cannot afford anything or are afraid to be frauded, I understand your trepidation and hesitation. I will gladly accept love and prayers. I know a lot of you struggle with money and I understand if you cannot donate. If you can, I will be so humbled and thankful. 
Im working hard to get well and not let this stroke define me.
