I want to introduce you to Lydia Spoor, a young girl whose light and energy are truly contagious. She’s a force of nature—radiating joy, resilience, and an unstoppable sparkle that touches everyone she meets.
Born with esophageal atresia (meaning she had no esophagus) and a complex heart defect, Lydia also rocks an extra chromosome. She has faced more medical challenges than most of us could imagine, battling chronic lung disease, kidney disease, dysautonomia, a failing bladder, complex migraines, and more. Yet, through it all, Lydia continues to shine, proving that true strength isn’t just about fighting—it’s about doing so with a smile.
Each year, I dedicate a fundraiser to a person or cause close to my heart. This May, I’m running a 50-mile Ultra Marathon to raise funds for Lydia’s care. I would love for you to join me in supporting her.
How to Contribute: Please feel free to contribute a comfortable amount using this link. I have an initial goal of raising $5,000 by May 10th, and anything will help. If you're also interested ordering a T-Shirt, the order page for that will be ready this week. All T-Shirt proceeds will go to Lydia Spoor.
Note:
- Contributions can also be sent through Venmo: Jacobson132
- Please disregard including a tip. That's absolutely not necessary.
Please contact me if you have any questions!
