Hi everyone!
I need your help! This year I am so honored to be a part of the Centennial Celebration for the Miss California Organization.
I work hard to embody the mission of Miss California. I don't simply talk the talk, I walk out my advocacy. My Social Impact is Grace Period: Period Equity, Equality and Advocacy. I founded my non-profit Grace Period when I was just 15 years old. Our mission is to provide menstrual hygiene products to unhoused women around California and we have successfully done so in Oakland, Berkeley, Sonoma, and beyond. Earlier this year, I was awarded the UC Berkeley Chancellor's Award for Public Service for my work with Grace Period.
Beyond my advocacy, I also plan to be an attorney in the future. I will be starting my first year of law school at UC Davis School of Law in the Fall. The Miss America Opportunity will provide me with scholarships to afford my legal education. I hope to use my law degree to bring about public policy change. With my Public Health and Biology B.S. degree from American University, I pledge to work towards a future where all women have access to the necessary menstrual products they need.
Beyond receiving academic scholarships, I've also developed awesome interview and public speaking skills, gained confidence, and discovered my passion for serving others. I am working hard towards my goal of becoming Miss California, but you can help me secure a spot in the top 12!
It would mean the world to me if you could vote for me as Miss California’s People’s Choice.
Thank you so much!
