Hi, I had written an update to this fundraiser a while ago. For whatever reason it didn't post. I will attempt to recount all that has happened correctly. This has been a real help.

The medicine is not only very expensive but the dispensaries are severely rationing it. They also seem to believe that the dosage for the most common ailments that this treats are the only legitimate ones. So the pharmacists are really challenged to come up with enough of it. They are trying their best.

I have used money from this spotfund account to pay rite aid $76 for the pills they have managed to get. Then I paid for the medicine being shipped from overseas. That was $77 for the equivalent of the $3000 worth in the US including shipping. I have $280 set aside for my upcoming doctor visit on Wednesday 3/23.

Wonderfully, Pathways Christian Fellowship and the Rural Outreach Center have come up with $350 to pay toward what is coming in the US. The rest of the medicine here is likely to come in five allotments of 6 days worth. If the pharmacy can get them all I believe that it will total $235 copay. After that I will need to buy one more set of medicine in the US. I am hoping this one won't be nearly as bad. I do not yet have the script so I am unable to investigate much. I also have a third doctor visit which will also be $280.

Enough of the finances. By Saturday the 12th I had become sick enough that I could only stay awake one hour. I only had two doses of medicine in me at that point. These were provided without sure knowledge that I could get more. I was scared.

Since then through the help of all involved I have had close to the amount of medicine the doctor would like me to have. Today has been the first day that I have been able to be awake for a significant time. I was able to clean and straighten my place a bit and feel a little bit stronger. But it is WONDERFUL TO BE MOVING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. Thank you all so much and thank God.
