A group of families in the West Bank urgently need financial help to survive the violence of occupation and to support their community systems that can outlast the attacks on their village.
They are an interfaith community of Palestinian families who have built their lives around love and service. They are now facing cascading disasters with no financial safety net beneath them.
It is time for us to step forward and care for our brothers and sisters overseas. What you give is exactly what they receive. Your gift will be directly given to the families to fund food, emergency supplies, urgent surgeries, housing repairs, and the daily essentials that make survival possible.
Please read the FAQs below to learn more about these families and how we are giving them direct aid.
It is easy to become paralyzed with the endless scrolling of images of children suffering, families displaced, and communities shattered. It can feel easier to scroll past and tell yourself someone else will handle it… But we are not called to be bystanders. We must act!
The antidote to despair is action. Action rooted in hope and solidarity!
Two Actions You Can Do Today:
Give what you can. $50 · $100 · $200 or whatever the Spirit is moving you toward. No gift is too small. Every single dollar goes directly to families.
Cover these families in prayer. Share this letter with your faith community, your small group, your family chat. Let's overwhelm this community with love.
The generational impact of a gift of any amount cannot be overstated. You can make the biggest impact with your prayers and your wallet. Please join us in helping strengthen this community so they can withstand the continued attacks.
Thank you for your generosity! Please give boldly!
Working towards a Free Palestine, Catherine and Lauren
Who We Are:
We are two people of faith who saw a genocide unfolding in Palestine and couldn’t look away. Now we are pooling our gifts and experiences together to respond in interfaith solidarity. Catherine has joined peace missions on the ground in Palestine where she walked along side families in need. Catherine’s first hand knowledge guides Lauren’s decade of advocacy experience in moving monetary resources to the people who need them the most.
The Families We Are Supporting:
We are being intentional about the amount of identifying details that are shared (names, pictures, and specific locations). In the West Bank visibility is not neutral. In fact it can create a target. A village that is too easily found or a family’s story that is too public can place them in direct danger from the IOF and settler violence. It could even cause a bank account freeze.
The details we are protecting are the very details that could make them vulnerable. That said, we have made a commitment to the people we serve that their safety comes before our story sharing. As we build a better world the foundation in that is created from trust. We trust the father who lights a prayer candle for us in the West Bank as he worries for his children’s safety. That trust we are extending to you as well.
Final Thoughts:
Lauren and Catherine are using their time to volunteer their gifts and experiences to amplify the voices of people that actually have everything to lose. We take this seriously. You have our word that your generosity is going exactly where we have pledged and in ways that protect the safety of this network of families. 100% of funds will go directly to the families’ accounts. We will provide proof of deposit updates because transparency is vital to building that mutual trust.
