Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
I'm reaching out on behalf of a very close friend. This family is completely devastated by the sudden and heartbreaking loss of a beloved 81-year-old father, grandfather, and devoted family man. In compliance with the family's wishes during this period of intense grief, we are keeping his name private, but the pain of his absence is felt deeply by everyone who knew him.
On a recent evening, this beloved man was driving his Subaru Forester eastbound on Griffin Avenue near Grays Airport Road, on his way home from helping out at a friends ministry, when all of a sudden he was encountered by a sharp curve. The vehicle went out of control, leaving the roadway, colliding with not only a guardrail, but also multiple trees and brush. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
While our hearts are broken, the reality of this sudden tragedy has brought unexpected financial burdens that we cannot manage alone. His immediate family is struggling immensely themselves, barely keeping themselves, along with 5 children of their own, above water. Please, We are urgently seeking community support to help cover
Funeral and Burial Funds: Providing him with a dignified, respectful final resting place.
Medical Bills: Covering emergency response fees and pending post-accident medical costs.
Accident Fines and Fees: Resolving property damages, vehicle removal costs, and administrative legal expenses linked to the accident site investigation.
No family can ever truly prepare for a loss of this magnitude. Especially not this family that is constantly opening their arms and doors to anyone and everyone in need! It's time we, as a community come together to repay them with the kindness that they've given to our families and friends all these years.
