Rodney's life revolved around the gym. He often told the story of how he would travel to NYC to the Mid City Gym, where he was able to meet Arnold Schwarzenegger. He started his gym career at the YMCA in Schenectady. The weights were sparse and there were holes in the floor. He competed in many body building contests back in the day. He was always happy to help a fellow gym person.
My mother loved Rodney with all her heart. We all watched her do whatever she could to make his days happy. It was amazing to see how they spent every day together and were truly best friends.
We know our mom as a strong person, and she will get through this, but she has been left with incredible grief and trauma.
Currently, she needs help meeting multiple expenses, including funeral expenses.
