Our family is asking for help for a very special dog who means the absolute world to my brother and sister-in-law.
Waylon is only 6 years old, and he is so much more than a dog to them—he was their first baby, their constant companion, and a huge part of their family. He has been there through so many chapters of their lives and has filled their home with so much love.
Sadly, everything changed very suddenly.
Waylon became seriously ill, and after taking him to the vet, they discovered that something is very wrong. The veterinarians are concerned that he may have cancer or a serious liver condition, but they don’t yet know exactly what is causing his illness. Finding out what is wrong and determining whether it can be treated will require extensive testing, specialists, and potentially surgery.
The estimated cost if it ends up being cancer is around $15,000 —an overwhelming amount for anyone, especially when this happened so unexpectedly.
Right now, they are doing everything they can to give Waylon a chance. They aren’t ready to say goodbye to their first baby without fighting for him.
