Darcy Stark, a loving mother of 5, grandmother of 2, hardworking and dedicated healthcare worker, is known as an energetic and driven force. Always giving her all to support her family while working tirelessly to provide all she can. She pushes the meaning of perseverance to new levels. She has been working 2 full time jobs to get them where they need to be and we’re a week away of starting a happy new path.
Unfortunately, this past Tuesday June 17th, she was made the victim of a car theft while on her break. Her purse was in the car along with her checkbook where a couple checks have been written and a couple debit cards that have been used. All the correct measures have been taken at this time however there are so many life changing moments that are supposed to be happening in the next week.
Darcys 2nd granddaughter was born in February with essentially half of a heart, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and has finally gotten a discharge date from the hospital to come home next week. There will be multiple appointments almost weekly for the remainder of her life. Now not having a vehicle this is a roadblock. My mom, my younger sister- who’s 10th birthday happens to be this Monday June 23, is now another what should be a happy moment is not looking so happy, my older sister, the mother of the grand babies, a 3 y/o and the 4 month old baby girl all have a new house to move in this Monday June 23rd in Bellevue NE, another what should be happy moment, is turning into another roadblock. All of their things are in North Platte NE in storage. They were planning on going this weekend to get a Uhaul and bring their things to their new home. Unfortunately now they are ultimately stuck in Omaha with no car. Another what should be happy moment is my brother who is serving in the Army in Italy is coming home for a visit July 1st.
I am asking for any kind of help small or big to help ease my moms stress and try and keep these happy moments ultimately happy. Of course we are still looking for the car but time is passing and we are running out of time. If you could please share this and say some extra prayers that would be wonderful.
