KiKi Kai, while 18 years old, still has a lot of life to live and loving to give. He is a beloved companion to both me and his sister feline, Pippi.
Since July of 2025, I have invested $2,500 towards the preliminary vet care through the SFSPCA which was needed in order to get a referral to DR. Lommer with Aggie Animal Dental Center. This also covered a visit to an oncologist at Sage veterinary clinic for a second opinion.
Dr. Lommer specializes in oral surgery that Kiki Kai needs for an excisional biopsy of a mass on his lower right lip and a subcutaneous mass on his left cheek. Kiki also has a fractured tooth at risk for an abscess that needs to be removed.
A surgery date with Dr. Lommer is set for December 1st, 2025. In addition to the $2,500 already paid, I have used $2,100 in Care Credit to cover an additional visit to SFSPCA to drain the mass, re-check blood tests to ensure his readiness for surgery, the initial consultation with Aggie's, and the $1500 required deposit for this surgery.
I have tapped my personal resources and am now faced with asking for help so that Kiki can get the care and comfort he deserves as he navigates his senior years.
