Hello, if you don't know me personally my Name is Amy. I am Wife to David and we will Celebrate 9 years in March. I am also a SAH Mother of 4, Sarah (7), Ethan (5), Arabella (2) and Noah (15m).

Having turned 40 this year and being Breast Cancer awarene ss month I decided to take advantage of a Mammos and Massages event. On October 20th I went for What I thought was a simple first time Mammogram. Unfortunately something was seen on my images and I was immediately sent for ultrasound and left with a scheduled Biopsy for the following week. On November 1st I was given the results and officially diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.

Based on all Imaging and Biopsy reports this is very early stage and for that we are thankful. But non the less this serious diagnosis is unexpected. It will require surgery, extended monitoring and possibly treatment, which will be determined after post surgical pathology is completed. We have insurance, and it will cover portions of my medical expenses. However the additional Appointments/Treatments mean added medical, gas and Childcare costs.

The goal is less than 90 days from Diagnosis to surgery and that means on December 12th I will be having my third surgery in less than 12 months. With already going through back to back recoveries, my body has been through a lot this year. I am not looking forward to this next surgery but understand the importance of having it.

First and foremost we Covet and appreciate your Prayers. The decision to ask for assistance was not easy and we do not ask lightly. But we believe this is needed at this time, for this season of our lives.

It is hard to assess costs with insurance, but currently we are already at $950 in out of pocket medical expenses and that will only go up! All funds raised will go directly to medical expenses, childcare and gas for appointmens. If you feel led and are able to help. Thank you from the bottom of Our Hearts 💕

Blessings,

Amy + David

Thank you for all the Prayers and Support! I am almost 2 weeks post Lumpectomy and doing well. Still in some mild pain and on activity restrictions and looking forward to being fully Healed!!

We have raised almost enough to cover the current $1200 in medical Bills. Your continued Prayers and support is very much appreciated ❤️

Hello all,  this is just a little update.  But first, Thank you to those who have Prayed, Shared and Donated! This means so much to us ❤️

My surgery has been rescheduled to the 19th and I am prayerful that I will be comfortable by Christmas!

We have officially received the $1150 in bills for all the Doctors appointments,  labs, MRI, etc. I have had so far. This does not include the $100 in co-pays I have already paid. That being said I have confirmed with my insurance that the only thing Cancer related that is covered at 100% would be Chemo and we are believing I won't need that! We still have our deductible and Out-of-pocket to reach and even then Facility Fees are not covered. This amount is a rough estimate and it includes additional Childcare and fuel costs,  but it could go up once I start treatment (mid/late January 2023).

Please continue to pray and please consider sharing my story!
