Our beloved Eddie survived a gnarly wall strike and fall on Dragon's Nest like the bad ass he is, but he could use community support for daily expenses while he undergoes additional surgeries and continues to heal. If you know Eddie, you know he'll try to go back to work before he's supposed to if bills need to be paid, so we need to do our best to keep him on bed rest.
Because BASE jumpers like to make everything difficult, he was in a tough spot for SAR to reach. GCSAR released this post on Eddie's rescue and have since posted additional photos. We are forever grateful to the brave people that volunteer their time with SAR, EMS, and air support.
Eddie will be unable to work for the next 4-6 months. We are trying to raise money to help him cover his part of the medical bills he will owe and to help him keep up with his mortgage payments. He has gone through 3 procedures so far and will have at least 3 more surgeries next week. He will then likely be discharged to the upstairs rehab floor of St.Mary's Hospital. Visitors and hugs are welcome! He has helped so many in the past, now it is our chance to help him out. Please give at this link.
