Friends, I’m running Grandma’s Marathon in Minnesota on June 17 and raising money for Everytown for Gun Safety, a cause more critical than ever and one close to me personally. Five years ago on April 3, a woman with a gun showed up at my work and opened fire at my co-workers and me while we were having lunch on the courtyard patio. I wrote about it at the time in a Medium post here. Today I’m part of the Everytown Survivor Network - a community of survivors working together to end gun violence. It’s not a club anyone wants to join, but it offers trauma-informed programs, connections with other survivors, all while working with the broader Everytown group to take action.
Hope you’ll join me in supporting Everytown, and my journey to 26.2! Thanks!!
