Each episode of Spare Change features a new nonprofit and a fresh opportunity to connect communities and causes with music.
After featuring his music in our past episodes, Warner Brother’s records artist Bryce Vine reached out to us to suggest we connect with his best friend Dan McKernan. Dan is the founder of Barn Sanctuary, a hands-on animal sanctuary dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and caring for farm animal refugees.
For our 12th Episode, we traveled to Michigan to meet Bryce at Barn Sanctuary and learn about his friendship with Dan and see the many animals they’ve saved. We then fundraised at Bryce’s show for this incredible cause. If you’d like to help, we encourage you to please share this story and donate!
