Hi everyone, My name is Aida Zina Diarah and I am 21 years old. I am of American nationality and of Malian origin and I deeply appreciate the time you take to listen to my story. I currently reside in Chicago, having grown up in West Africa, specifically Mali. My journey was fraught with challenges, especially with my mother in Maryland, who, unfortunately, pushed me away when I refused to succumb to her demands to sell my body. Despite the difficulties, I made the courageous decision to leave and seek refuge in a shelter.
During my time in Mali, I met a man I love deeply and we eventually got married. After we married, I moved to Chicago, where life took another difficult turn. My husband has been diagnosed with heart disease and his condition requires frequent medical care. However, due to financial difficulties, it is extremely difficult for me to afford the necessary expenses, including travel for his treatment.
Every time he suffers an attack, I feel a sense of helplessness, knowing that I cannot be by his side due to financial constraints. Nights are particularly difficult, as I struggle to find rest while worrying about his health. Your support would mean the world to me as it will allow me to be there for my husband during these critical times and ensure that he gets the care and love he deserves. Thank you for considering my appeal and I will be forever grateful for any help you can provide.
