Update: Loay received donor feedback that led him to determine he should separate his fund into two. Since the start of this fund, he has worked hard to seek help and has secured needed shelter for his family. Shelter costs $630 each month where he is. Mila also has urgent needs to keep her safe. We will keep this fund exclusively for shelter and Mila's ongoing needs with a monthly request for $1300 ($325 a week). This will cover the $630 for rent, $100 for diapers, and $40 for milk every week or two. We started a separate fund to cover the family's food and medical needs that can be accessed here: https://spot.fund/SupportLoayFamily
Update: Loay's family urgently needs your help. Winter is in full force with heavy rains and freezing temperatures. Please support Loay to winterize their tent, obtain warm winter clothes, and food for their family. Everything you are able to contribute means the world.
Update: Loay's little girl Mila has a birthday coming up. Unfortunately due to their location in Gaza there isn't much that their family can do for her birthday. The one thing they could do, with your support, is get warm clothes for winter for Mila. Loay is hoping for $400 to make sure his family has what they need to stay warm and that Mila has something to keep her warm and comfy for her birthday. If you can contribute, please do. Whether you can or can't, please share this fund.
From Loay
My name is Loai, I am 28 years old from Gaza. I was injured, and my home was completely destroyed. Now I live with my family in a small tent that cannot protect us from the cold nights or the burning heat of the day.
I have a little daughter, only one and a half years old. She has no milk, no food, and not even diapers.
We are suffering from starvation and facing extermination. Every day is a struggle just to survive, and the harsh conditions have become unbearable.
I kindly appeal to your hearts - any support, no matter how small, could save my life, my daughter's life, and my family's future. - Loai
Loai is trying to feed his family and needs roughly $150-200 a week to do so, as food prices are skyrocketing due to the Occupation's nefarious actions. His family truly needs a better tent to protect them, which costs around $300, and diapers and milk for his baby daughter. Diapers are $100 for 40, and Milk is $40-50. Prices vary each day. It sometimes goes up and very rarely goes down. Please help Loay meet his goal. Before his injury, he served in humanitarian efforts to help his community, and now he needs the community to help him. - Elayna
