Hello Everyone,
Two years ago, I removed my son and I from a 7year abusive relationship with literally the clothes on our backs and the check I had literally just received from my job. I left the home, cars, food, toys, literally our entire life. And I created a new one. I eventually found a job, bought a scooty scoot (a 1998 Toyota corolla) for $1000, and found affordable rent in a mobile home. After over a year, he finally found where I worked and somehow 2 days later, I was fired. (Ive never in my entire life been fired or laid off from a job.) It took some time, but I eventually started a Work from Home job so no one can come into my place of work again.
The issue I am having right now is I am having a very hard time getting out of this rut. I make enough to pay my rent now, but because I am behind 2 months, I keep receiving extra charges in late fees so its making it very hard to catch up (because the payment goes 2 months back so now the current month is late.) My scooty is now going downhill rapidly, I need to replace parts that cost more than the car itself.
I don't have anywhere else to turn so I figured I would give this a try because I cant think of anything else to do.
I am seeking assistance in getting my rent current so I no longer have to pay late fees every month. I also would like to purchase a reliable car. I don't need or want a brand new car or car with major payments. I just would like something that can get us from A-B without any leaks.
I know I can continue to succeed because slowly but surely my ball is indeed rolling. Getting these two issues handled will finally allow me to actually be able to breathe just for a moment.
