Season of Cheer!
Welcome to our 2024 Launch!
We are excited to partner with Loudoun County Veteran’s Services for the 6th year in a row. We’ve had great success raising money for this organization in the past and look forward to having another great year!
This year we are adopting five very deserving veteran families. Welcoming back two of our families from last year’s campaign and adding three new families – all based in Loudoun County.
How it Works
Read the stories below of each veteran family in need. Donate an amount of your choosing. Once the site closes at noon on 12/18 the final Season of Cheer contribution amount will be equally divided and distributed directly to:
The French Family
The Butler Family
The Burns Family
The Robinson Family
The Kirchman Family
Our goal for this year is $10,000.00
Season of Cheer Run Time: Friday, December 6th through Wednesday, December 18th
NEW ADDITION: French Family: This family is a deserving and essential addition to our campaign. Ms. Meredith French comes from a long line of veterans, to include her father, brother, and husband, who served in the U.S. Marine Corps. The French Family consists of seven children and currently reside in Purcellville, VA. Ms. French is currently being treated for tongue cancer and could really use our support during this extremely difficult time. This family has shown integrity, strength and resilience for so long, and it is our honor to include them in this year's campaign.
NEW ADDITION: Butler Family. We are honored to add the Butler family to our event this year. Ms. Butler, former wife of a U.S. Army Veteran, resides in Loudoun County with her two children, ages 15 months and 7 years. Ms. Butler works as a Medical Technician and she and her family are more than deserving of our support and holiday spirit this season. We are grateful to support this family and help them have the best holiday season that they truly deserve.
NEW ADDITION: Burns Family: The Burns Family is new to our campaign this year. Ms. Elizabeth Burns is a U.S. Army Veteran who resides in Loudoun Country with her two adult sons. Ms. Burn’s father was a U.S. Army helicopter pilot in Korea. This Veteran family is currently dealing with serious health issues and could really use our assistance over the holidays. We are honored to have the opportunity to assist this deserving family during the holiday season this year.
Robinson Family: We are happy to continue working with the Robinson Family. Mr. Robinson was a 100% disabled, double amputee, United States Navy (USN) Veteran. In 2019, the Loudoun County Veteran Services (LCVS) had to rebuild their home in Aldie, VA due to a black mold issue and to modify the house to provide access for Mr. Robinson’s wheelchair. Mr. Robinson unexpectedly passed away in January 2021, leaving behind his wife and daughter. Mrs. Robinson has been more than appreciative for our support and would gratefully welcome our support again this year. Upon receiving last year’s funds, Mrs. Robinson said “Thank you for all your support and help during the Christmas season!”
Kirchman Family: We have assisted the Kirchman Family since 2019 and are happy to continue our assistance. Mr. Kirchman is a disabled United States Navy (USN) Veteran and due to his health complications and inability to work, his family has been struggling to make ends meet. His family consists of him, his wife Tracey and their 9-year-old son, Isaac. Last year, Mr. Kirchman was more than appreciative of the support, stating “Thank you guys so much. As I stated before, you all are angels. Merry Christmas to you all and God Bless.”
