Hi friends.

My name is Alice, and my mom is from Kharkiv, Ukraine. Although my immediate family is thankfully safe in the United States, I have many dear friends all over Ukraine - Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odessa, etc. Unfortunately, large scale humanitarian aid organizations like UNICEF and Red Cross have been largely inefficient at quickly getting aid to where it's needed, so I decided to take matters into my own hands.

My team of friends in Kharkiv has organized a large scale evacuation mission from their hometown. Please read their message below, and donate, so that we can save as many lives as possible.

Before the war, we used to be 14 people with different lives and goals — restaurateurs, photographers, IT entrepreneurs, actors, teachers, investors. Now, our lives have been put on hold, but when we get them back, we’ll be stronger and happier than ever.

Right now, Ukraine is facing a humanitarian catastrophe. Kharkiv is one of its hot spots.

While soldiers are fighting occupants and defending Ukraine’s freedom, civilians are stuck in the war zone with no chance to leave their hometowns due to constant bombing and shooting.

We, Ukrainian volunteers, deliver humanitarian aid to Kharkiv and evacuate people from Kharkiv to Poltava, the nearest safe city.

We have already helped thousands of women, children, and elderly people to leave the city. But there are still hundreds of thousands of people in Kharkiv who need our help.

And we need yours. Food, gas, childcare products, drivers, buses, evacuation — we simply don’t have enough money to cover it all. We are now spending $3,000 every day, and that number is constantly increasing. Here is where we can use your help.

We are shooting to evacuate 1,500 this week, using our buses and rented buses. Each ride will come out to $14/person. The buses will come back with much-needed humanitarian aid for soldiers, volunteers, and those unable to leave the city.

Every dollar helps. Please help us save as many lives as possible.
